Chris Stein is currently battling his 4th brain tumor as he continues his twenty-two year journey with cancer. Music helps him live each day to its fullest as he looks forward to sharing the rest with his wife, also a brain tumor survivor, and his son.
Chris started playing guitar at 15. He launched Chris Stein Music Ministries at 18 and started traveling leading worship for events for the next 20 plus years.
His personal songwriting began with his first brain tumor diagnosis. It was an outlet and a way to chronicle his journey. He has traveled many miles as a spokesperson for the National Brain Tumor Society and shared his story through music, enjoying playing with bands like Big Daddy Weave, Lincoln Brewster, and other bands and speakers.
Serving as a hospice educator for a national senior living company fits perfectly with his current lifestyle and he enjoys jamming with his son, seen in his recent music video for Pieces of Me, recorded at Cancer Can Rock recording studios.
This song was written in 2004 represents who he is: singer, songwriter, and cancer warrior!
